'The year of the Lord's favour';
has much for us to savour.

When blame and shame comes, do not lose heart;
hang on to God and never depart.
'Looking to Jesus' right from the start;
grace with ‘our faith’, he then will impart.

When we do wrong, where do we begin?

Jesus the Way, accepts us as kin;

Jesus' love has the strongest girth;

If we 'believe' we have new birth;

We work hard for status, wealth and learning;
even if souls are sad, weak and yearning.

God's work in the world stops all lying;
He speaks the truth to heal our crying.

so many doctors we've made an appeal.
Jesus died for all wounds we know and feel;
big and small sins He will gladly repeal.
Confess to Jesus, He gives the best deal,

Cruel and ‘harsh’ words are like a restless sea,
ready to do damage and destroy me.
But sweet and ‘soft’ words are fruit from a tree,
that strengthen, refresh, not leave us empty.
Seek Jesus the Word, from Him never flee;
drink at His fountain whenever angry. Hallelujah!
"Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness,
and receive with meekness the implanted word,
which is able to save your souls.”

Let’s remove all our excess ear wax;
'receive with meekness' what each person lacks.
God's Word implants and saves us to the max,
so we can stand against future attacks.
